Remember to go to the site "November" to see more pictures from November. It's in Danish, but the pictures are taken with an international camera -
amazing what today's technology can do!
Being staff at the Oval Office is far from easy, and involves a lot of
diplomatic meetings. We went to the German girls' house, AKA the der
Bundestag, AKA the worm house ('cauz they have worms. Ya well, not the girlz
obviously, but the house. They live in the floor (the worms, not the girlz),
and they come up once in a while to say hi like in dat Moby music video with
dem little mars men). The following conversation was recently recorded at
the Oval Office, just after the political changes in China:
George: Condi! Nice to see you. What's happening?
Condi: Sir, I have the report here about the new leader of China.
George: Great. Lay it on me.
Condi: Hu is the new leader of China.
George: That's what I want to know.
Condi: That's what I'm telling you.
George: That's what I'm asking you. Who is the new leader of China?
Condi: Yes.
George: I mean the fellow's name.
Condi: Hu.
George: The guy in China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The new leader of China.
Condi: Hu.
George: The Chinaman!
Condi: Hu is leading China.
George: Now whaddya' asking me for?
Condi: I'm telling you Hu is leading China.
George: Well, I'm asking you. Who is leading China?
Condi: That's the man's name.
George: That's who's name?
Condi: Yes.
George: Will you or will you not tell me the name of the new leader of
China?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir? Yassir Arafat is in China? I thought he was in the Middle
East.
Condi: That's correct.
George: Then who is in China?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir is in China?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Then who is?
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Yassir?
Condi: No, sir.
George: Look, Condi. I need to know the name of the new leader of China. Get
me the Secretary General of the U.N. on the phone.
Condi: Kofi?
George: No, thanks.
Condi: You want Kofi?
George: No.
Condi: You don't want Kofi.
George: No. But now that you mention it, I could use a glass of milk. And
then get me the U.N.
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: Not Yassir! The guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi?
George: Milk! Will you please make the call?
Condi: And call who?
George: Who is the guy at the U.N?
Condi: Hu is the guy in China.
George: Will you stay out of China?!
Condi: Yes, sir.
George: And stay out of the Middle East! Just get me the guy at the U.N.
Condi: Kofi.
George: All right! With cream and two sugars. Now get on the phone.
(Condi picks up the phone.)
Condi: Rice, here.
George: Rice? Good idea. And a couple of egg rolls, too. Maybe we should
send some to the guy in China. And the Middle East. Can you get Chinese food
in the Middle East?
The party at the der Bundestag.
If I'm not mistaking, this must be the first picture with the two French
guys together.
This is from Michelle's cocktail/birthday party. I'm sure she wishes that
she could have another picture taken, but this is all I've got. We all
dressed up in nice dresses, shirts and ties (hey boyz: A Space Jam tie is
very popular among the girlz).
And for the first time I have the honour of presenting Jette from
Esbjerg, Denmark on the English part of my homepage. These pictures are
taken in Kingdom Wednesday the 27th of November, after she got her piercing
in the left eye brow:
In the upper right corner is Moni's friend Pete. You can read about him
further down this page.
Again, I'm stunned.... dono what to say.......
Kerstin's sister Bettina came to visit a few weeks ago. She's very nice,
and the day she left, we decided to stay up until her bus left. We had been
out (to Stardust at the Hallam Union if I am not mistaking), and the bus
left at 7 in the morning. We did a lot of stuff that night in Kerstin's room.
Bettina and I did the der Wienerwaltz (einmal Pommes mit Hosen und Jacke)......
.... while Moni und Johan tried to do the step into Kerstin's room.....
.... and soon Johan did the dwarf......
.... until the party moved on to the bed, where Kerstin and Johan were
caught in the act with a third (yet unidentified) person. This picture is
from Johan's and my "surveillance camera" in Kerstin's room. Smile Kerstin,
you're on CCTV!
It was a wild night, and several times, Johan "fell" out of the bed. He
was really drunk and very easy to push. He didn't protect himself with his
hand, resulting in an enormous BUMP every time he hit the floor. I wasn't
drunk at all (!!!!!), but nonetheless found the BUMPs very funny. Normally I
don't drink - I'm more the intellectual type, as can be seen below:
I was forced by some very insisting girlz. I guess they like intellectual
men..... I have now got a hair cut (thank you Anki), and so unfortunately I
have lost a substantial part of my knowledge.
Some weeks ago Moni's German friend Ragna was here, visiting from Leeds.
We all had a good time, and although Ragna and I were kicked of the stage in
Stardust dancing, it takes more to stop us. She is coming again this
weekend, so Moni is gonna be very busy, since her friend Pete is here the
whole week. As I write Moni and Pete are in York (the old one, not the new
one). And Pete: Hi from Gamston Road, and thank you for a nice week (and the
Beck biers and especially the Greek Metaxa. How did you know that it is one
of my favourites. It goes along just excellent with coffee on a warm Greek
evening at a cafe, or in this case: a cold evening in the living room.
Remember to send your pictures from your camera to me.
Last week Johan's girlfriend Terese from Sweden was here. I don't know
about her, but Johan sure missed her. She is a very nice girl, and we were
all glad to have her here (well obviously Johan were the happiest, although
he lost in poker to her - but as they say in Italy: As long as it stays in
the la familia). We are still waiting for pictures of her. I believe the
French guys took some (sober) pictures of the 2 of them together. Terese can
say 1 word in Danish, but unfortunately its not a word: "Skideroev". As I
write, we still don't know what it means, but its probably something dirty.
And Johan, I've got two words for you: ....... ......! (the first word is
tension, and the second rimes on belief)
What else has happened. Oh ya, Johan and I went to the legendary
discothèque Bed Tuesday the 19th of November, where the standard remark seems
to be "Will you go to Bed with me?). It was alright, but really expensive.
Since the discothèque is so close to our house, we had to go, and we were
told that Tuesday is the best day to go there. Apparently it is also the
cheapest, but considering what we paid that night (well Johan paid, I could
only afford the entrance and the fee for the jackets then I was out of money
that night), we definitely won't go on other days. We also met my
volley-trainer Alex (see Mexicans in Kingdom), who just graduated and
decided to celebrate it in Bed (if you know what I mean?).
AND: Were going to Dublin. Yes, Dublin! Not as in Dublin Scotland, but as
in Dublin, Ireland!!!! We got plane tickets for free, so from Thursday the
12th of December to Monday the 16th we are 11 international students going
to Dublin. We fly from Leeds in the morning, and then go to the hostel,
where we have booked a 12-beds room, and paid for the 12th bed, so the
person wouldn't be disturbed. Its gonna be so great!
The true story behind this picture is pretty long, and so it will not be
brought her. But please do not hesitate to ask any member of staff if you
are further interested. All I can say from here is that Johan and I laughed
like 2 teenage girlz for 10-15 minutes while we were waiting for Kerstin to
come into her room after brushing her teeth. We hid (as good as we could) in
her bed under the duvet, but surprisingly we were discovered immediately!?
Kerstin's bed is very popular among the male staff of the oval office,
and this paparazzi-picture shows two celebrities hiding under the duvet as
they try to run out of Kerstin's room avoiding getting their face in front
of tomorra's Adult Sport. I can see I forgot to shave my legs, so I'll go
and do that now. I will end November by showing you a picture of some of the
Christmas Lights in Sheffield. Goodnight America, where ever you are!
This pic was taken when Johan and I went to discotheque Bed, during my mum
and step dad's visit. We warmed up with a lot of Absolut Vodka, and then we
were ready to rumble.
Life in Sheffield was very tempting, and I ain't only talking about those
two good-looking girlz, but also the building behind 'em. We passed Bed on
the way to the University, so it took a lot of discipline, which we
obviously
didn't have.
The pic above was sent by Kerstin, I don't like it, but since I promised not
to censor, I'll bring it anyway...
kødmarked... aiii
